The Minima Procedure

Minima can be implanted in children as young as a few days old (≥ 1.5kg) and is designed to be periodically expanded as the child grows into adulthood. The stent comes pre-mounted and front loaded on an integrated delivery system, equivalent to a 4F sheath, equipped with an atraumatic tip designed for sheath-less access into femoral or arterial vessels.*

In the years ahead, a simple off-the-shelf balloon may be used to re-expand the Minima stent, accommodating the growth of the patient.
